House in Banner Elk

Seven Devils Chalet + Hot Tub, PS5 & Firepit

Entire home • 4 guests • 2 bedrooms • 2 beds • 2 bathrooms

A rustic-modern chalet tucked into the forest of Seven Devils, high between Boone and Banner Elk — where fall arrives early and the color comes right up to the deck. When the Blue Ridge turns in October, this is the quiet, wooded spot you want to be in: hot tub in the trees, fire pit under a cold clear sky, and floor-to-ceiling glass that opens the living room straight into the season. A comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat that sleeps four, built for a leaf-season getaway or a couples' weekend in the mountains. Seven Devils sits at elevation, so the foliage peaks earlier and the nights turn crisp sooner than down in the valleys. Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway at its most colorful, hike the overlooks and waterfalls nearby, then come back to the hot tub and a fire. Banner Elk's Woolly Worm Festival and Sugar Mountain's Oktoberfest are both a short drive out, right at peak color. The Space — A rustic-modern chalet designed for comfort and connection: a warm living room with plush seating, a gas fireplace for cool mountain evenings, a PS5 setup for nights in, and an open, light-filled layout with forest views all around. Sleeping for four: a private primary suite, a second bedroom that works for a couple, kids, or friends, and two full bathrooms for easy group stays. The standout feature: the living room's glass doors open fully, with screened airflow — so you can pull the crisp fall air straight into the space, bugs out, breeze in. It's the best seat for the color. Outdoor Living — This is where the chalet earns its keep in fall. Morning coffee on the private deck in cold mountain air. Evening soaks in the two-person hot tub, surrounded by trees turning gold and red. Fire pit nights under starlit skies. A quiet, shaded, fully private forest setting — no crowds, just mountain calm. The Location — Positioned between the best of the High Country: Boone — short drive. Banner Elk — short drive. Sugar Mountain — nearby. Beech Mountain — nearby. Hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks all around, with the Parkway's best foliage runs minutes away. Getting Around & Things to Know — EV charger on-site for convenient, modern travel. Not pet-friendly. Seven Devils roads climb; AWD or 4WD recommended in winter months. A quiet mountain neighborhood, ideal for peaceful stays. Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Must be 25+ years old to book, ID verification required.
